Hibiscus Applique Quilts

Supplies needed: pattern, 5 different batik fabrics, sewing machine, thread, ruler, rotary cutter and mat. Also, general sewing supplies.

Shining Stars

Flower Block of the Month
This class is on Jul 18, 2008 at 10:00 AM and costs $15.00
Teaching this class will be Sue Weber, on the third Friday of each month from 10-4. Class fee: $15. This class will be a block a month. You can use the blocks as a wall hanging or after 12 months make them into a quilt. It is a floral pattern for each month. The blocks are made using paper piecing, applique and piecing. Each block is a different flower. Supplies needed: Book (A Year of Flower Blocks), fabric, rotary cutter, mat, ruler, sewing machine, thread, 1/4" foot and other general sewing supplies.
Schooling Fish

Teaching this class will be Pat Dietering on July 24th from 10-4. Class fee is $25. This easy to piece quilt is arranged in rows of colors with the deepest colors at the bottom to give the illusion of depth. Supplies needed: Quilt in a day 1/2 sq. ruler, fabric, machine and cutting supplies. Pattern is free.

Teaching this class will be Linda Reeb on July 29th from 10-4. Class fee is $20. I fell in love with this quilt when I saw it swaying in the breeze outside an Amish store. This is a very nice maple leaf technique. Supplies needed: cutting supplies, machine, machine sewing supplies plus pattern.

Charm Square Messenger Bag

Frayed Edge French Roses

Teaching this class will be Linda Reeb on August 19th from 10-4. Class fee is $20. Choosing fabrics for this quilt was so much fun. The techniques are easy and the results are great. Supplies needed: Paper shears, template plastic, permanent marker, sharp fabric shears, sewing machine, open toe foot, pattern, ruler, rotary cutter and fabric.
Table Graces Placemats

Supplies needed: Table Graces pattern, fabric requirements per pattern and fusible fleece instead of muslin. (Fusible fleece makes these placemats so much easier to make)
