Escape the stress of everyday life and come to beautiful Mackinaw City for an enchanting weekend full of frolic, fabric and fun! This year you have two camps to choose from. #l camp is February 1st, 2nd, & 3rd. #2 camp is February 8th, 9th, & 10th. Let the creativity flow as you join friends and fellow quilters for 3 fabulous days of Quilt Camp 2010.

Pack your projects and head north for a splendid relaxing get-away at the Mackinaw Beach & Bay in Mackinaw City. Camp has never been as luxurious as this one is going to be! This hotel will be filled with quilters for this special occasion, and your room awaits you. Our campers enjoy lounging in their favorite cuddly pajamas as they visit and sew to their hearts’ content. Our camp is perfect for groups of four, so call three friends and tell them about this fabulous and affordable get-away. We will be having nail techs and massage therapist for chair massages.

Bring your machine and all of your favorite quilting tools to set up your own personal sewing area in our sewing rooms equipped with tables for your convience. You might also want to take along an extra light and heavy extension cord. Pack those projects you’ve been dying to get finished but haven’t had the time to work on. At quilt camp you won’t be interrupted to tend to family needs or cook dinner. At quilt camp you can leave those responsibilities behind. Five sumptuous meals will be provided throughout your stay, Delicious breakfasts and lunches are served in the hotel. Scrumptious dinners will be provided by the world-renowned Keyhole Bar, just one of the keys to your carefree stay at Quilt Camp.

Hearts to Holly from Charlevoix will be vendoring this year, and Cynthia’s Fine Yarn and Gifts will also be there, offering classes and will open her shop. If you want, you can just soak in the hotel’s steamy hot tub, or go for an invigorating swim in the refreshing indoor pool. Spa treatments will be available onsite for a modest and reasonable fee.

Please bring your favorite snack to be shared with others.

Not quilters? Not to worry. All amenities and opportunities for relaxation and fun are available to the non-quilters as well. Come and enjoy!

Dates: February 1, 2, 3, or February 8, 9, 10, 2010.
Arrival Time: 10:00 AM on either the 1st or the 8th.
Departure Time: 12:00 PM on either the 3rd or the 10th.
Cost: $145.00 each for 4 people in a room, $165.00 each for 3 people in a room, $205.00 each for 2 people in a room.

Groups of less than four will share room arrangements with other campers. The hotel management will assign all rooms. If you choose to arrive on Sunday afternoon, call the hotel for your extra reservations. They are giving you a special rate for that night. (This is separate from the camp fee.) Only one person from each room needs to call the hotel with the list of people for camp. A deposit of $75.00 is due by December 30, 2009. The remainder is due by January 15th, 2010. A check can be sent to The Quilt House. Please no credit cards. When you send your deposit and we receive it you need to call the hotel for your room reservations. We will not be handling any room assignments. Our goal at camp is for everyone to have an enjoyable experience.
